Micah Pilkey is not your typical real estate developer. A builder of communities and a believer in redemption, he has turned his entrepreneurial drive into a mission: expanding affordable housing while advocating for second chances.
With a background in land development and a hands-on approach to transforming mobile home parks into thriving tiny home communities, Micah is addressing the housing crisis with scalable, human-centered solutions. His developments are more than projects — they are platforms for stability, dignity, and hope.
But Micah’s journey has not been without hardship. A pivotal experience in federal prison redefined his values and redirected his path. From that chapter emerged a renewed focus on integrity, purpose, and impact. Today, alongside his property work, he partners with nonprofits to support the reintegration of formerly incarcerated individuals, helping them find footing through housing, employment, and support networks.
Micah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management and is currently pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Real Estate Development. Based on lived experience and deep empathy, his work challenges industry norms and invites a broader conversation about what ethical development looks like.
Whether he’s featured in a local publication or speaking on national platforms, Micah’s voice is clear: housing is not just a market — it’s a mission.
